Service Agreement

Service Description: Our business provides a trash can management service, which involves moving residential trash cans to the curb on garbage collection days and returning them afterward. We may also offer additional services such as trash can cleaning or disinfecting. The specific services provided are determined by the plan selected at the time of subscription.

Service Frequency: Services are provided on a weekly or twice a week basis, depending on the customer's chosen plan. We reserve the right to adjust service schedules during holidays or in response to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. Any such changes will be communicated to customers in advance whenever possible.

Service Area: Our services are available within specified areas in Newfoundland. These areas are subject to change, and we will notify affected customers if their service area is modified. Up-to-date service area information is always available on our website.

Customer Responsibilities

Access Requirements: Customers are responsible for ensuring that trash cans are accessible on the scheduled service days. This includes keeping pathways clear of snow, vehicles, or other obstacles. Failure to provide accessible trash cans may result in a missed service, for which we are not liable.

Proper Use: Customers must use trash cans in accordance with local waste management regulations. Overfilled or improperly used trash cans may not be serviced. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure trash cans are used correctly and comply with local guidelines.

Payment Terms

Pricing: Our pricing structure is outlined on our website and is subject to change. Customers will be notified in advance of any changes to pricing. The total cost may include applicable taxes and fees, which will be clearly indicated.

Billing Cycle: Payments are processed on a recurring monthly basis unless otherwise stated in the customer's chosen plan. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, debit cards, and secure online payments.

Late Payments: Late payments may result in service suspension until the account is brought current. A late payment fee may also be applied. Customers will receive reminders about overdue payments and can contact customer support to resolve billing issues.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation Policy: Customers can cancel their service at any time by providing notice through our customer service channels. To avoid charges for the upcoming billing cycle, cancellations must be made a least a month in advance.

Refund Policy: Refunds are issued for services not provided due to our error. Refund requests will be reviewed, and if approved, processed within 3-4 business days. Services interrupted by factors beyond our control, such as severe weather, may not be eligible for refunds, but we will endeavor to reschedule missed services.

Service Modifications

Change of Service: Customers may modify their service plan, such as adjusting the frequency of service or adding optional services, through their online account or by contacting customer support. Any changes may be subject to availability and price adjustments.

Right to Modify: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to customers with reasonable notice, allowing them to make alternative arrangements if necessary.

Liability

Service Interruptions: We are not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, or emergencies. We will notify customers of any disruptions and reschedule services when feasible.

Damages: While we handle trash cans with care, we are not responsible for damages resulting from normal handling, misuse, or external factors. Customers should report any service-related issues promptly for resolution.

Dispute Resolution

Complaint Process: Customers can submit complaints or disputes through our customer service channels. We aim to resolve all issues amicably and promptly. If a resolution cannot be reached, customers may pursue further action under Newfoundland law.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Newfoundland and Labrador. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Newfoundland, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Agreement Acceptance

Acknowledgment: By subscribing to our services, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Customers are responsible for reviewing these terms periodically for updates or changes.

OnDemand 

By using CurbPro's on-demand trash can service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Customers are required to book the service at least 24 hours in advance and ensure payment is made prior to the scheduled service day. If a customer wishes to cancel their booking, cancellations must be made within 24 hours of the booking time to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made after this timeframe will not be refunded.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure clear and unhindered access to their trash cans. This includes placing the bins in an accessible location and ensuring that no obstacles, such as locked gates or blocked pathways, prevent our team from performing the service. Additionally, for the safety of our employees, customers must ensure that any pets are securely contained during the service.

Failure to provide access or ensure a safe environment may result in the service not being completed, and no refunds will be issued in such cases. 

Privacy Policy

We collect personal information such as names, addresses, contact details, and payment information when customers sign up for our services. We may also collect non-personal data, such as browser type and usage patterns, to improve our website and services.
